The Larry H. Miller Family of Companies makes its first acquisition in California buying Quality Toyota from Bud Gordon in Corona.
The new name of the store will be Larry Miller Toyota Corona. The dealership gives Miller, one of the top 10 dealer groups in the country, a foothold in the important southern California market.
Bud Gordon has a strong reputation in the market for his philanthropy. He built the Quality West Wing Foundation, which sits on the dealership property. According to a press release issued by the Larry Miller company, the Gordon family will continue to run this facility and manage the foundation. Through its charitable arm, Larry H. Miller Charities, LHM Dealerships supports nonprofit organizations that focus on issues that affect women and children with an emphasis on health and education.
Larry H. Miller began his career with a single automotive dealership in Murray, Utah in 1979, and since then, Larry H. Miller Dealerships has grown to include 54 locations in seven western states.
The acquisition continues what has been a torrid pace the last several months with the 2014 total through the middle of August nearing 170.
