May 16, 2016 — FordDirect announced today that industry veteran Mike Jurecki will be its new CEO effective June 6. Jurecki previously served as CEO of RouteOne for 14 years where he led the formation of the joint venture of the financial services firm.
He replaces Stacey Coopes who left FordDirect in early December (Big Changes at FordDirect) amidst differences in philosophy with Ford vice president of U.S. marketing, sales and service Mark LaNeve. Valerie Fuller, FordDirect’s COO will continue in her role as interim CEO until June 6 when Jurecki takes over. Fuller is staying with the company as COO. Meanwhile, RouteOne has yet to name a replacement for Jurecki, telling TBR that the decision is to be determined.

Under Jurecki’s leadership at RouteOne, the company grew to a network of more 1,300 finance sources with 125 dealer service provider integrations. RouteOne also was instrumental in bringing eContracting to the automotive industry and is on pace to process more than 2.5 million eContracts this year.
RouteOne also was named as one of Detroit Free Press’ Top 100 WorkPlaces in 2015.
