Matt Hinson served as the Managing Director for Flow Automotive Companies a North Carolina Dealership conglomerate with 36 franchise locations. An innovator and visionary, Mr. Hinson has spent the last five years scaling operational functions for the group and the identifying technology investments with the potential to disrupt the industry.
One such investment is Amplify RPM, for which Mr. Hinson serves as Managing Director. The joint venture strategically combines a partnership among eight privately held dealership groups and Inmar, a leader in advanced analytics. Amplify RPM is a multi-channel direct and digital marketing automation platform fueled by predictive analysis which radically increases service customer retention.
Mr. Hinson’s background prior to the Automotive industry was rooted in senior strategy and operations roles. He spent seven years with Mullen Lowe U.S. as a Senior Vice President, which was regularly included as an “A List Agency” by Ad Age as well as honored by the title of “Most Innovative Agency” by Fast Company during his tenure. Leading the digital and business consulting practices, Mr. Hinson facilitated the intersection of strategy, media, creative, and performance optimization for the agency after growing the direct sales business for Dish Network 25% during his tenure as Director, Global eCommerce.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, Mr. Hinson is supported by his wife and two children. The family resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where they are active in the community. Mr. Hinson serves on the board of several non-profit organizations and enjoys mentoring innovators and entrepreneurs in the Piedmont Triad startup community.
